About Bobby Milhouse Dance
Born and raised in Bradenton, Florida, young Bobby Milhouse began his dance education at the Manatee School for the Arts at 10 years old, where he began dance courses, including jazz, lyrical, and ballroom. Soon after, he joined a traveling ballroom group and began competing on an ammeter level. At this point, his gift was fully realized as he won in a variety of dance styles.
In 2007, Bobby attended the New York Conservatory for the Dramatic Arts, where he realized his passion for teaching dance—sharing the expression of movement while instilling confidence into students. Since then he’s brought his engaging instructional style to students in Florida, New York City, Northern California, and Los Angeles.
Settling in to life in Los Angeles, Bobby developed methods in his teaching that allow for maximum impact amidst students busy schedules and started hosting group choreography events for special occasions and casual parties alike. Launching BMD, Bobby has been able to grow a dance community centering on building confidence, relaying positivity, and celebrating everyday people stepping out of their comfort zones. Additionally, BMD also provides personalized in-home one-on-one dance instruction in the greater Los Angeles area.
Bobby believes that ANYONE can dance from the seasoned performers looking to improve their form to novices who are just looking to have a little fun. His positive spirit, encouraging voice, and unwavering patience has allowed him to prove that fact to countless students over the years. Sharing that process is among his greatest achievements.
